William W. Tseng, MD

Dr. Tseng is a sarcoma surgical oncologist and Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Southern California (USC), Keck School of Medicine. In 2014, he was recruited from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center specifically to develop the Sarcoma Program at USC. Dr. Tseng has clinical expertise in the surgical management of adult soft tissue sarcoma of the extremities, trunk and abdomen. He has a particular interest in retroperitoneal sarcoma and liposarcoma.

Dr. Tseng is actively involved in research and collaboration for soft tissue sarcoma. His research background is in tumor immunology and his previous work was the first to describe a unique immune response in well differentiated / dedifferentiated liposarcoma. He is also an active member of the Trans-Atlantic Retroperitoneal Sarcoma Working Group and has direct collaboration with other sarcoma centers around the world including most recently, Italy and China.
