J Clin Oncol 2013;(suppl; abstr 3) %K %X One of the highlights of the recent ASCO meeting was the presentation of the results of GOG 240 by Tewari on behalf of his co-investigators in a plenary session (1). This was a positive trial which reported a significant increase in overall survival (OS) of women with metastatic/recurrent cervical cancer who were treated with bevacizumab in combination with chemotherapy.
